HOW IT WORKS:
Creating a personal memoir is easy! All you need to do is call to set up an interview. We'll take care of the rest.
The book-making process is broken down into four easy steps and can be finished in as little as three weeks.
STEP 1: THE INTERVIEW.
After setting up an appointment, our staff will meet with you – and anyone else you feel is pertinent in talking to – to go over important information, dates and memories you want to capture in your book. At this time, you’ll need to supply us with pictures, graphics or letters you wish to use, as well as any biographical information and important dates. All interviews will be recorded for accuracy.
STEP 2: A FIRST DRAFT.
Using our notes, we will make a sketch of what your book will look like. Your photos will be scanned and your story will be written. A rough draft should be completed in just a few weeks. When finished, we'll call you to schedule a second meeting.
STEP 3: THE EDITING PROCESS.
When we meet, you'll have a chance to view your book for the first time. You will go over any edits and double check all spellings and dates.
If major changes are required, a third meeting can be set up to see a second draft.
STEP 4: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER.
After final approval, your books will be printed, hand-bound and covered then delivered to you to enjoy and send out as gifts.
The time it takes for a book to be finished varies on size, availability and the complexity of a job. Most books should be done in less than three weeks.
